..........
Where your
treasure is, there your heart shall be.
All that you possess will never set you free.
See the things that last; Come and learn from me.
Where your treasure is your heart shall be.
What do you gain from all
your worry,
What you should eat or what to wear?
There is no peace in stress or hurry.
Do you not know that your are held within God's care?
Let there be peace
on earth
And let it begin with me;
Let there be peace on earth,
The peace that was meant to be.
Let peace begin with me,
Let this be the moment now;
With every step I take,
Let this be my solemn vow:
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me;
Let there be peace on earth,
The peace that was meant to be.
To take each moment and live
each moment
In peace eternally.
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me.
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark
Walk on, through
the wind
Walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark
Walk on, through the wind
Walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone
Laudate Dominum
omnes gentes laudate eum, omnes populi
Quoniam confirmata est super nos misericordia eius
et veritas Domini manet in aeternum
Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui
Sancto.
Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper.
Et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.
He was beautiful,
beautiful to my eyes
From the moment I saw him the sun filled the sky.
He was so, so beautiful; beautiful just to hold
In my dreams he was springtime, winter was cold.
How could I tell him what I so clearly could see?
Though I longed for him another trusted me completely
so I never could be free
Ah, but it was beautiful knowing
that he cared
I will always remember moments we shared.
My dearest dear,
If I could say to you
In words as clear
As when I play to you,
You'd understand
How slight the shadow that is holding us apart.
So take my hand,
I'll lead the way for you.
A little waiting and you'll reach my heart.
Your lonely hours will spread
their wings and fly;
The passing show'rs will only pass you by.
If you can trust me, trust the secret in my song.
When love is true
The road is never long.
My dearest dear,
If I could say to you
In words as clear
As when I play to you,
You'd understand
How slight the shadow that is holding us apart.
So take my hand,
I'll lead the way for you.
A little waiting and you'll reach my heart.
Dear face that
holds so sweet a smile for me
Were you not mine, how dark this world would be
I know no light above that could replace
Love's radiant sunshine in your lovely face.
Give me a smile, the love-light
in your eyes
Life could not hold a sweeter paradise
Give me the right to love you all the while
My world forever, the sunshine of your smile.
Shadows may fall across the
land and sea
Sunshine from all the world may hidden be
But I shall see no clouds across the sun
Your smile shall light my life till life is done.
Give me a smile, the love-light
in your eyes
Life could not hold a sweeter paradise
Give me the right to love you all the while
My world forever, the sunshine of your smile
My world forever, the sunshine of your smile.

Roses are shining
in Picardy
In the hush of the silver dew
Roses are flowering in Picardy
But there's never a rose like you
And the roses will die with the summer time
And our roads may be far apart
But there's one rose that dies not in Picardy
'Tis the rose that I keep in my heart
And the years fly on forever
Til the shadows veil their sighs
But he loves to hold her little hand
And look in her sea blue eyes.
And he sees the rose by the poplars
Where they met in the bygone years
For the first little song of the roses
Is the last little song she hears
She is watching by the poplars
Colinette with the sea blue eyes
She is watching and longing and waiting
Where the long white roadway lies
And a song stirs in the silence
As the wind in the boughs above
She listens and starts and trembles
'Tis the first little song of love.
We have been gay, going our way
Life has been beautiful, we have been young
After you've gone, life will go on
Like an old song we have sung
When I grow too old to dream
I'll have you to remember
When I grow too old to dream
Your love will live in my heart
So, kiss me my sweet
And so let us part
And when I grow too old to dream
That kiss will live in my heart
And when I grow too old to dream
That kiss will live in my heart
(Orchestral Interlude)
So, kiss me my sweet
And so let us part
And when I grow too old to dream
That kiss will live in my heart
Will you say those
words to me?
Will you say them tenderly?
Do you know just how they go,
those simple words?
A little maiden
climbed an old man's knee
Begged for a story, "Do, uncle, please!"
Why are you single? Why live alone?
Have you no babies? Have you no home?"
"I had a sweetheart, years, years ago
Where she is now, pet, you will soon know.
List to the story, I'll tell it all
I believ'd her faithless, after the ball."
After the ball is over,
After the break of morn,
After the dancers' leaving
After the stars are gone;
Many a heart is aching
If you could read them all
Many the hopes that have vanished
After the ball.
After the ball is over,
After the break of morn,
After the dancers' leaving
After the stars are gone;
Many a heart is aching
If you could read them all
Many the hopes that have vanished
After the ball.
Bed! Bed! I couldn't
go to bed!
My head's too light to try to set it down!
Sleep! Sleep! I couldn't sleep tonight.
Not for all the jewels in the crown!
I could have danced all night!
I could have danced all night!
And still have begged for more.
I could have spread my wings
And done a thousand things I've never done before.
I'll never know What made it so exciting;
Why all at once My heart took flight. I only know when he
Began to dance with me I could have danced,
danced, danced all night!
Last night as
I lay sleeping there came a vision rare:
I stood in old Jerusalem beside the temple there.
I heard the children singing and ever as they sang
I thought the voice of angels from heavn in answer rang:
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, lift up your gates and sing
Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna to your King!
And then I thought my dream
had changed:
the streets no longer rang;
hushed were the glad hosannas
the little children sang.
The sun grew dark with mystery, the morn was cold and chill
as the shadow of a cross arose upon a lonely hill.
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, hark how the angels sing:
Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna to your King.
And once again the scene was
changed,
new earth there seemed to be.
I saw the Holy City beside the tideless sea;
the light of God was on its streets, the gates were opened wide,
and all who would might enter and no one was denied.
No need of moon or stars by night, nor sun to shine by day:
it was the New Jerusalem which would not pass away.
There was no pain and no more death, no good would pass away.
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, sing,
for the night is oer!
Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna forevermore,
Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna forevermore!
Over the quiet hills, slowly
the shadows fall;
Far down the echoing vale, birds softly call.
Slowly the golden sun sinks in the gleaming west;
Bird songs at eventide, call me, call me, to rest.
Love, though the hours of day
sadness of heart may bring,
When twilight comes again, sorrows take wing;
For, when the dusk of dreams comes with the falling dew,
Bird songs at eventide call me, call me to you.
(Reprise, softly):
Bird songs at eventide, call me, call me to you..
My young love said to me,
"My mother won't mind,
And my father won't slight you
For your lack of kine."
And she stepped away from me
And this she did say,
"It will not be long, love,
Till our wedding day."
She stepped away from me
And she moved through the fair,
And fondly I watched her
Move here and move there;
And then she went homeward
With one star awake,
As the swan in the evening
Moves over the lake.
The people were saying
That no two were e'er wed,
But one had a sorrow
That never was said,
And she smiled as she passed,
With her goods and her gear,
And that was the last
That I saw of my dear.
Last night she came to me,
My dead love came in,
So softly she came
That her feet made no din;
And she laid her hand on me
And this she did say,
"It will not be long, love,
Till our wedding day."
The falling leaves drift by
the window
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sunburned hand I used to hold
Since you went away the days
grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sunburned hand I used to hold
Since you went away the days
grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
Down by the Sally Gardens my
love and I did meet
She crossed the Sally Gardens with little snow-white feet
She bid me take love easy as the leaves grow on the tree
But I was young and foolish and with her did not agree
In a field down by the river
my love and I did stand
And on my leaning shoulder she laid her snow-white hand
She bid me take life easy as the grass grows on the weirs
But I was young and foolish and now am full of tears
If you ever go across the sea
to Ireland,
Then maybe at the closing of your day,
You will sit and watch the moon rise over Claddagh,
And see the sun go down on Galway Bay.
Just to hear again the ripple
of the trout stream,
The women in the meadow making hay.
Just to sit beside a turf fire in the cabin,
And watch the barefoot gosoons at their play.
For the breezes blowin' o'er
the sea from Ireland
Are perfumed by the heather as they blow
And the women in the uplands diggin' praties
Speak a language that the strangers do not know.
Yet the stangers came and tried
to teach us their way.
They scorned us just for bein' what we are.
But they might as well go chasing after moon beams,
Or light a penny candle from a star.
And if there's is going to
be a life hereafter,
And somehow I am sure there's going to be,
I will ask my God to let me make my heaven,
In that dear land across the Irish sea.
(a haunting, wordless air)
'Tis the last rose of summer,
Left blooming all alone,
All her lovely companions
Are faded and gone.
No flower of her kindred,
No rose bud is nigh,
To reflect back her blushes,
Or give sigh for sigh.
I'll not leave thee, thou lone
one,
To pine on the stem;
Since the lovely are sleeping,
Go sleep thou with them;
'Thus kindly I scatter
Thy leaves o'er the bed
Where thy mates of the garden
Lie scentless and dead.
So soon may I follow
When friendships decay,
And from love's shining circle
The gems drop away!
When true hearts lie withered
And fond ones are flown
Oh! who would inhabit
This bleak world alone?
If you ever go
across the sea to Ireland,
Then maybe at the closin' of your day
You will sit and watch the moon rise over Claddagh
And see the sun go down on Galway Bay.
Just to hear again the ripple
of the trout stream
And the women in the meadows making hay,
To sit beside the turf fire in the cabin
And watch the barefoot gossoons at their play.
For the breezes blowin' across
the sea from Ireland
Are perfumed by the heather as they blow.
And the women in the upland diggin' praties
Speak a language that the strangers do not know.
For the strangers came and
tried to teach us their way.
They scorned us just for bein' what we are.
But they might as well go chasin' after moon beams
Or light a penny candle from a star.
And if there's to be a life
in the hereafter --
And somehow I'm sure there's going to be --
I will ask my God to let me make my heaven,
In that dear land across the Irish sea.
There's a place
for us,
Somewhere a place for us.
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us somewhere.
There's a time for us,
Someday a time for us.
Time together with time to spare,
Time to learn, time to care.
Someday, somewhere
We'll find a new way of living,
We'll find a way of forgiving,
Somewhere.
There's a place for us,
A time and place for us.
Hold my hand and we're halfway there
Hold my hand and I'll take you there,
Somehow, someday, somewhere.
Someday, somewhere
We'll find a new way of living,
We'll find a way of forgiving,
Somewhere.
There's a place for us,
A time and place for us.
Hold my hand and we're halfway there
Hold my hand and I'll take you there,
Oh the violets
were scenting the woods, Nora
Displaying their charm to the bee
When I first said I loved only you, Nora
And you said you loved only me
The chestnut blooms gleamed
through the glade, Nora
A robin sang loud from a tree
When I first said I loved only you, Nora
And you said you loved only me
The golden-robed daffodils
shone, Nora
And danced in the breeze on the Lea
When I first said I loved only you, Nora
And you said you loved only me
The trees, birds and bees sang
a song, Nora
Of happier transports to be
When I first said I loved only you, Nora
And you said you loved only me
Our dreams they have never
come true, Nora
Our hopes they were never to be
Since I first said I loved only you, Nora
And you said you loved only me
Since I first said I loved only you, Nora
And you said you loved only me
Oh Danny boy,
the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide.
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.
And if you come, when all the
flowers are dying
And I am dead, as dead I well may be
You'll come and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an "Ave" there for me.
And I shall hear, tho' soft you tread above me
And all my dreams will warm and sweeter be
If you'll not fail to tell me that you love me
And I will sleep in peace until you come to me.
Nella
fantasia io vedo un mondo giusto,
Li tutti vivono in pace e in onestà.
Io sogno d'anime che sono sempre libere,
Come le nuvole che volano,
Pien' d'umanità in fondo all'anima.
Pien' d'umanità in fondo all'anima.
Be my love
For no one else can end this yearning
This need that you and you alone create
Just fill my arms
The way you've filled my dreams
The dreams that you inspire
With every sweet desire
Be my love
And with your kisses set me burning
One kiss is all I need to seal my fate
And hand in hand
We'll find love's promised land
There'll be no one but you for me
Eternally
If you will be my love
Greensleeves was
all my joy,
Greensleeves was my delight;
Greensleeves was my hart of gold,
And who but my Lady Greensleeves.
Alas, my love, you do me wrong,
To cast me off discourteously;
And I have loved you so long,
Delighting in your company!
I have been ready at your hand,
To grant whatever you would crave;
I have both waged life and land,
Your love and good-will for to have.
And who did pay for all this
gear,
That thou didst spend when pleased thee?
Even I that am rejected here,
And thou disdainst to love me!
Well! I will pray to God on
high,
That thou my constancy mayst see,
And that, yet once before I die,
Thou wilt vouchsafe to love me!
Greensleeves was all my joy,
Greensleeves was my delight;
Greensleeves was my heart of gold,
And who but my Lady Greensleeves.
The pale moon
was rising above the green mountains,
The sun was declining beneath the blue sea;
When I strayed with my love by the pure crystal fountain,
That stands in the beautiful Vale of Tralee.
She was lovely and fair as
the rose of the summer,
Yet 'twas not her beauty alone that won me;
Oh no, 'twas the truth in her eyes ever dawning,
that made me love Mary, the Rose of Tralee.
The cool shades of evening
their mantle were spreading,
And Mary all smiling was listening to me;
The moon through the valley her pale rays was shedding,
When I won the heart of the Rose of Tralee.
Though lovely and fair as the
Rose of the summer,
Yet 'twas not her beauty alone that won me;
Oh no, 'twas the truth in her eyes ever dawning,
that made me love Mary, the Rose of Tralee.
Time to say goodbye.
-- Con te partirò.
Paesi che non ho mai
veduto e vissuto con te,
adesso sì li vivrò.
Con te partirò
su navi per mari
che, io lo so,
no, no, non esistono più,
it's time to say goodbye. -- con te io li vivrò.
Quando sei lontana
sogno all'orizzonte
e mancan le parole,
e io si lo so
che sei con me, con me,
tu mia luna tu sei qui con me,
mio sole tu sei qui con me,
con me, con me, con me.
Time to say goodbye. -- Con
te partirò.
Paesi che non ho mai
veduto e vissuto con te,
adesso sì li vivrò.
Con te partirò
su navi per mari
che, io lo so,
no, no, non esistono più,
Both:
Con te io li rivivrò.
Con te partirò
su navi per mari
che, io lo so,
no, no, non esistono più,
con te io li rivivrò.
Con te partirò
Io con te.
Oh, Peggy Gordon,
you are my darling
Come sit you down upon my knee
And tell me the very reason
Why I am slighted so by thee.
I'm so in love that I can't
deny it
My heart lies smothered in my breast
But it's not for you to let the world know it
A troubled mind can know no rest.
I put my head to a glass of
brandy
It was fancy I do declare
For when I'm drinkin', I'm always thinkin'
And wishing Peggy Gordon was here.
I wish I was in some lonesome
valley
Where womankind cannot be found
Where the little birds sing upon the branches
And every moment a different sound.
Alone, all alone,
by the wave-washed strand
All alone in a crowded hall.
The hall it is gay and the waves they are grand
But my heart is not here at all.
It flies far away, by night and by day,
To the time and the joys that are gone.
And I never can forget the sweet maiden I met,
In the valley near Slievenamon.
It was not the grace of her queenly air
Nor her cheek of the rose's glow.
Nor her soft black eyes, not her flowing hair
Nor was it her lily-white brow.
'Twas the soul of truth and of melting ruth,
And the smile of summer's dawn
That stole my heart away, one mild summer day,
In the valley near Slievenamon.
In the festive hall, by the star-watched shore
My restless spirit cries: my love,
Oh my love, shall I ne're see you more,
And my land will you ever uprise.
By night and by day I ever, ever pray,
While lonely my life flows on
To our flag unrolled and my true love to enfold,
In the valley near Slievenamon.
If I loved you,
Time and again I would try to say
All I'd want you to know.
If I loved you,
Words wouldn't come in an easy way
Round in circles I'd go!
Longin' to tell you,
But afraid and shy,
I'd let my golden chances pass me by!
Soon you'd leave me,
Off you would go in the mist of day,
Never, never to know how I loved you
If I loved you.
If the sun should
tumble from the sky,
if the sea should suddenly run dry
If you love me, really love me,
Let it happen I won't care
If a dream I fear should fall
apart
I can still be smiling with my heart
If you love me, really love me,
Let it happen darling I won't care
Shall I catch a shooting star,
Shall I bring it where you are
If you only say you care
I can make a mountain fall
I'll do anything at all
As long as you are there
When at last my life on earth
is through,
I will share eternity with you
If you love me, really love me,
Let it happen darling I won't care
'Tis the last
rose of summer,
Left blooming alone;
All her lovely companions are faded and gone;
No flow'r of her kindred,
No rosebud is nigh
To reflect back her blushes,
Or give sigh for sigh.
I'll not leave thee, thou lone
one,
To pine on the stem;
Since the lovely are sleeping,
Go, sleep thou with them;
Thus kindly I scatter
Thy leaves o'er the bed
Where thy mates of the garden
Lie scentless and dead.
So soon may I follow,
When friendships decay,
And from love's shining circle
The gems drop away!
When true hearts lie wither'd,
And fond ones are flown,
Oh! who would inhabit
This bleak world alone?
Where Lagan stream sings lullaby
There blows a lily fair
The twilight gleam is in her eye
The night is on her hair
And like a love-sick lennan-shee
She has my heart in thrall
Nor life I owe nor liberty
For love is lord of all.
Her father sails a running-barge
'Twixt Leamh-beag and The Druim;
And on the lonely river-marge
She clears his hearth for him.
When she was only fairy-high
Her gentle mother died;
But dew-Love keeps her memory
Green on the Lagan side.
And often when the beetle's
horn
Hath lulled the eve to sleep
I steal unto her shieling lorn
And thru the dooring peep.
There on the cricket's singing stone,
She spares the bogwood fire,
And hums in sad sweet undertone
The songs of heart's desire
Her welcome, like her love
for me,
Is from her heart within:
Her warm kiss is felicity
That knows no taint of sin.
And, when I stir my foot to go,
'Tis leaving Love and light
To feel the wind of longing blow
From out the dark of night.
Where Lagan stream sings lullaby
There blows a lily fair
The twilight gleam is in her eye
The night is on her hair
And like a love-sick lennan-shee
She has my heart in thrall
Nor life I owe nor liberty
For love is lord of all.

The first time
ever I saw your face
I thought the sun rose in your eyes
And the moon and stars were the gifts you gave
To the dark and the empty skies, my love,
To the dark and the empty skies.
The first time ever I kissed
your mouth
And felt your heart beat close to mine
Like the trembling heart of a captive bird
That was there at my command, my love
That was there at my command.
And the first time ever I lay
with you
I felt your heart so close to mine
And I knew our joy would fill the earth
And last till the end of time my love
It would last till the end of time my love
The first time ever I saw your
face, your face,
your face, your face
No more talk of darkness
Forget these wide-eyed fears
I'm here
Nothing can harm you
My words will warm and calm you
Let me be your freedom
Let daylight dry your tears
I'm here
With you, beside you
To guard you and to guide you
Say you love me every weakening
moment
Turn my head with talk to summertime
Say you need me with you now and always
Promise me that all you say is true
That's all I ask of you
Let me be your shelter
Let me be your light
You're safe
No one will find you
Your fears are far behind you
Then say you'll share with
me one love,
One lifetime
Let me lead you from your solitude
Say you want me
And you need me
Beside you
Anywhere you go, let me go too
That's all I ask of you
Refrain:
I
will search in the silence for your hiding place.
In the quiet, Lord, I seek your face
Verse 1
Where can I discover the well
springs of your love?
Is my searching and seeking in vain?
How can I recover the beauty of your word?
In the silence I call out your name
Verse 2
Where can I find shelter to shield me from the storm,
to find comfort, though dark be the night?
For I know that my welfare is ever in your sight.
In the shadows I long for your light
Verse 3
Lead me in your footsteps along
your ancient way.
Let me walk in the love of the Lord.
Your wisdom is my heart’s wealth, a blessing all our days. I
n the silence I long for your world.
Refrain:
I will be the vine and you will
be the branches.
All you who live in me will never, never die.
I will be the sign, I will offer many chances;
So live, oh live in me and you shall have new life.
Verse 1
Remain in me, as I remain in you.
You may ask what you will,
ask what you will, and you shall receive.
Verse 2
As the father loved me, so have
I loved you.
Remain in my love, remain in my love, and I will give you life.
Verse 3
If you are my friends, you will
live my commands.
There is no greater love, no greater love
than to lay down your life for your friends.
Refrain:
I will thank the Lord deep within
my heart,
and I will thank the Lord for such a gift as you are.
And we will find the words to say,
two hearts that speak now as one,
when this day is done.
Verse 1
And whoever could know what our
future will hold,
the blessings that our God will
send.
We are strangers no more as tomorrow unfolds;
we find comfort in God as our friend
Verse 2
Though dark be the night when
we fear losing sight,
we wonder from where comes the day,
we are never alone,
for the Lord makes his home
in hearts that are seeking love’s way
Verse 3
And when we grow old and our story
is told,
and our memories are stored away,
God will seek out each face
and will find us a place,
in a home where love bids us stay
Refrain:
Even
though the rain hides the stars,
even though the mist swirls the hills,
even when the dark clouds veil the sky,
God is by my side.
Even
when the sun shall fall in sleep,
even when at dawn the sky shall weep,
even in the night when storms shall rise,
God is by my side. God is by my side.
Verse 1
Bright the stars at night that
mirror heaven’s way to you.
Bright the stars in light where dwell the saints in love and truth.
Verse 2
Deep the feast of life where saints
shall gather in deep peace.
Deep in heaven’s light where sorrows pass beyond death’s sleep.
Verse 3
Blest are they who sing the fellowship
of saints in light.
Blest in heaven’s King. All saints adore the Lord, most high.
Lord
of all hopefulness, Lord of all joy,
whose trust, ever childlike, no cares can destroy,
be there at our waking, and give us, we pray,
your bliss in our hearts Lord, at the break of the day
Lord
of all eagerness, Lord of all faith,
whose strong hands were skilled at the plane and the lathe,
be there at our labours and give us we pray,
your strength in our hearts Lord at the noon of the day
Lord
of all gentleness, Lord of all calm,
whose voice is contentment, whose presence is balm,
be there at our sleeping, and give us, we pray,
your peace in our hearts Lord at the end of the day
When I fall in love, it will be forever
or I'll never fall in love.
In a restless world like this is, love is ended before it's begun,
and too many moonlight kisses
seem to cool in the warmth of the sun.
When I give my heart it will be completely
or I'll never give my heart
And the moment I can feel that you feel that way too
is when I fall in love with you

You will hear my voice,
I claim you as my choice,

Refrain:
Do not be afraid, I am with you.
I have called you each by name,

I will bring you home;
I love you and you are mine.

I am eyes for all who long to see.

Nella
fantasia io vedo un mondo giusto,
Li tutti vivono in pace e in onestà.
Io sogno d'anime che sono sempre libere,
Come le nuvole che volano,
Pien' d'umanità in fondo all'anima.

May
the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rain fall softly on your fields
and until we meet again may you keep safe
in the gentle loving arms of God

Listen to his constant speaking,
Listen to the spirit calling you.
Listen

Verse 1
He’s in the sound of the thunder,
in the whisper of the breeze.
He’s in the might of the whirlwind in the roaring of the seas.
Verse 2
He’s in the laughter of children,
in the patter of the rain.
Hear him in cries of the suffering, in the mourning and their pain.
Be
with me Lord when I am in trouble, be with me Lord I pray.
Verse 1
You who dwell in the shelter of
the Lord, most high,
who abide in the shadow of the Lord,
say to the Lord “my refuge and fortress,
the God in whom I trust”
Verse 2
No evil shall befall you, no pain
come near,
for the angels stand close by your side,
guarding you always and bearing you gently,
watching over your life
My
young love said to me,
My mother won't mind
And my father won't slight you
For your lack of kind.
And she stepped away from me
And this she did say,
"It will not be long love
Till our wedding day".
She stepped away from me
And she moved through the fair
And fondly I watched her
Go here and go there.
And she went her way homeward
With one star awake,
As the swan in the evening
Moves over the lake.
I dreamt it last night,
My young love came in.
So softly she entered
her feet made no din.
And she lay down beside me
And this she did say,
"It will not be long love
Till our wedding day".
O
mio babbino caro,
mi piace è bello, bello;
vo'andare in Porta Rossa
a comperar l'anello!
Sì, sì, ci voglio andare!
e se l'amassi indarno,
andrei sul Ponte Vecchio,
ma per buttarmi in Arno!
Mi struggo e mi tormento!
O Dio, vorrei morir!
Babbo,
pietà, pietà!
Babbo, pietà, pietà!

So
this is love
So this is love
So this is what makes life divine
I'm all aglow,
And now I know
The key to all heaven is mine
My heart has wings,
And I can fly
I'll touch every star in the sky
So this is the miracle that I've been dreaming of
So this is love!

I am a sailor and
you’re my first mate,
We signed on together and coupled our fate.
We hauled up our anchor and plan not to fail,
For the heart’s treasure together we set sail.
With no maps to guide us we
steered our own course
We rode out the storms though the winds blow gale force.
We sat out the doldrums in patience and hope
Working together we learned how to cope.
Life is an ocean and love is
a boat.
In troubled waters it keeps us afloat.
When we started to voyage there was just me and you.
Now gathered ‘round us we have our own crew.
Together we’re sailing a relation-ship.
We’ve built it together to last the whole trip.
Our true destination's not marked on a chart.
For we’re navigating the shores of the heart.
Make me a channel of your peace:
Where there is hatred, let me bring you love;
Where there is injury, your healing pow'r,
And where there's doubt, true faith in you.
Make me a channel of your peace:
Where there's despair in life let me bring hope;
Where there is darkness, - only light,
And where there's sadness, ever joy.
O Master, grant that I may
never seek
So much to be consolded as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love with all my soul - .
Make me a channel of your peace.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
In giving to all that we receive,
And in dying that we're born to eternal life.
From this moment... life has
begun
From this moment... you are the one
Right beside you... is where I belong
From this moment on
From this moment... I have
been blessed
I live only for... your happiness
And for your love, I'd give my last breath
From this moment on
I give my hand to you with
all my heart
Can't wait to live my life with you, can't wait to start
You and I will be... never apart
My dreams came true because of you
From this moment, as long as
I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing... that I wouldn't give
From this moment on.

Somewhere over the
rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.
Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?
If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?
When I am down and, oh my soul,
so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand
on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand

You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;

You who dwell in the
shelter of the Lord,
Who abide in His shadow for life,
Say to the Lord, "My Refuge,
My Rock in Whom I trust."
Refrain
And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
The snare of the fowler will
never capture you,
And famine will bring you no fear;
Under His Wings your refuge,
His faithfulness your shield.
Refrain
You need not fear the terror of the night,
Nor the arrow that flies by day,
Though thousands may fall about you,
Near you it shall not come.
Refrain
There
was a child named Bernadette.
I heard the story long ago.
She saw the queen of heaven once
and kept the vision in her soul.
No one believed what she had
seen.
No one beleived what she heard,
that there were sorrows to be healed
and mercy, mercy in this world.
So many hearts I find
broke like yours and mine,
torn by what we've done and can't undo.
I just wanna hold you.
Come on, let me hold you
like Bernadette would do.
We've been around, we fall, we fly.
We mostly fall, we mostly run.
And every now and then we try
to mend the damage that we've done.
Tonight, tonight I just can't
rest.
I've got this joy here,
here inside my breast.
To think that I did not forget
that child, that song of Bernadette.
So many hearts I find,
hearts like yours and mine,
torn by what we've done and can't undo.
Well, I just wanna hold you.
Come on, let me hold you
like Bernadette would do.
You'll remember me when the
west wind moves
Among the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold
So she took her love for to
gaze awhile
Among the fields of barley
In his arms she fell as her hair came down
Among the fields of gold
Will you stay with me will
you be my love
Among the fields of barley
And you can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold
I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that I've broken
But I swear in the days still left
We will walk in fields of gold
We'll walk in fields of gold
I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that I've broken
But I swear in the days still left
We will walk in fields of gold
We'll walk in fields of gold
Many years have passed since
those summer days
Among the fields of barley
See the children run as the sun goes down
As you lie in fields of gold
You'll remember me when the
west wind moves
Among the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold
When we walked in fields of gold
When we walked in fields of gold
Make
of our hands one hand,
Make of our hearts one heart,
Make of our vows one last vow:
Only death will part us now.
Make of our lives one life,
Day after day, one life.
Now it begins, now we start
One hand, one heart;
Even death won't part us now.
Make of our lives one life,
Day after day, one life.
Now it begins, now we start
One hand, one heart,
Even death won't part us now.
I skimmed across black water,
Without once submerging,
Onto the banks of another morning.
That hungers the first light,
Much, much more than
The mountains ever do.
And she like a ghost beside me
Goes down with the ease of a dolphin
And awakens
unlearned, unshamed, unharmed.
For she is the perfect creature,
Natural in every feature.
I am the geek with the alchemist stone.
For all of you who must discover
For all who seek to understand,
For having left the path of honour
YouTo find a very special land.
2X: And it is a holy thing, And it is a precious time,
And it is the only way. Forget-me-nots among the snow.
It's always been and so it goes
To ponder his death and his life eternally.
One bright blue rose, who
lives are those,
Two thousand years and so it goes.
To ponder his death and his life eternally.

He only is my rock, my strength, and my salvation.
CHORUS:
My stronghold, my Savior, I shall not be afraid at all
My stronghold, my Savior, I shall not be moved.
Only in God is found
safety when the enemy pursues me.
Only in God is found glory when I’m found weak and lowly.
Will you let me be
your servant,
let me be as Christ to you?
Pray that I might have the grace to
let you be my servant, too.
We are pilgrims on a journey,
we are trav’lers on the road.
We are here to help each other
walk the mile and bear the load.
I will hold the Christ-light
for you
in the night time of your fear.
I will hold my hand out to you,
speak the peace you long to hear.
I will weep when you are weeping,
when you laugh I'll laugh with you.
I will share your joy and sorrow
till we've seen this journey through.
Will you let me be your servant,
let me be as Christ to you?
Pray that I might have the grace
to let you be my servant, too.
Refrain:
Like a shepherd he feeds his flock, and gathers the lambs in His arms,
holding them carefully close to His heart, leading them home.
1. Say to the cities of Judah:
Prepare the way of the Lord.
Go to the mountain top lift your voice. Jerusalem, here is your God.
2. I myself will shepherd them,
for others have led them astray.
The lost I will rescue and heal their wounds, and pasture them giving
them rest.
3. Come unto me if you are
heavily burdened
and take my yoke upon your shoulders. I will give you rest.
Amazing
Grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas
Grace that taught my heart to fear,
And Grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through
many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.
The Lord's my shepherd i'll
not want
He makes me down to lie
In pastures green; he leadeth me
The quiet waters by.
My soul he doth restore again,
And me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness
E'en for his own name's sake.
Yea, though Iwalk in death's
dark Vale,
Yet shall I fear no ill;
For thou art with me, and thy rod
And staff me comfort still.
My table thou hast furnishéd
In presence of my foes;
My head thou dost with oil anoint,
And my cup overflows.
Goodness and mercy all my life
Shall surely follow me;
And in God's house for evermore
My dwelling place shall be.

And I am strong when I am on your shoulders

The higher you build your barriers
The taller I become
The further you take my rights away
The faster I will run
You can deny me
You can decide to turn your face
away
No matter, cos there's.... Something inside
so strong
I know that I can make it
Though you're doing me wrong, so
wrong
You thought that my pride was gone
Oh no, something inside so strong
Oh oh oh oh oh something inside
so strong The more you refuse to hear my voice
The louder I will sing
You hide behind walls of Jericho
Your lies will come tumbling
Deny my place in time
You squander wealth that's mine
My light will shine so brightly
It will blind you…cos there's...... Something inside so strong
I know that I can make it
Though you're doing me wrong, so
wrong
You thought that my pride was gone
Oh no, something inside so strong
Oh oh oh oh oh something inside
so strong
Brothers and sisters
When they insist we're just not
good enough
When we know better
Just look 'em in the eyes and say

Anyway, Anyway, Anyway
Like the deer
that yearns
for running streams,
so my soul is longing
for you, my God.
My soul is thirsting for God,
the living God.
When shall I come and see
the face of God?
My tears have become my food,
by night and day,
while I hear it said all day,
"Where is your God?"
Jesu, joy of man’s desiring,
Holy wisdom, love most bright;
Drawn by Thee, our souls aspiring
Soar to uncreated light.
Word of God, our flesh that fashioned,
With the fire of life impassioned,
Striving still to truth unknown,
Soaring, dying round Thy throne.
Through the way where hope
is guiding,
Hark, what peaceful music rings;
Where the flock, in Thee confiding,
Drink of joy from deathless springs.
Theirs is beauty’s fairest pleasure;
Theirs is wisdom’s holiest treasure.
Thou dost ever lead Thine own
In the love of joys unknown.
I was blind but now I see
You made a believer out of me
I was blind but now I see
You made a believer out of me
Chorus
I'm moving on up now
Out of the darkness
My light shines on
My light shines on
My light shines on I was lost and now I'm found
I believe in you. I've got no bounds
I was lost and now I'm found
I believe in you. I've got no bounds
Chorus
I'm moving on up now
Out of the darkness My light shines on
My light shines on
My light shines on
My light shines on x4
I was blind but now I see
You made a believer out of me
I was blind but now I see
You made a believer out of me
Chorus
My light shines on x8
Where do I go?
When there's nobody else to turn to
Who do I talk to?
When nobody wants to listen
Who do I lean on? Oh
When there is no foundation stable
I go to the rock
I know he is able, I go to the rock
Chorus
The Lord is the rock of my salvation
Oh He’s the stone that the builders rejected
Mountain after mountain stands by me
When the Earth all around me is sinking sand
On Christ the solid rock I stand
When I need a shelter I go to the rock
Where do I go, where do I go
When the storms of life are threatening
Who do I turn to when those winds of sorrow blow
And is there a refuge in the time of tribulation
Go to the rock, I know he is able
I go to the rock
Repeat
Chorus I go the rock x4
You can go to the rock x4
I go, to the rock x8 And when the Earth around me is
sinking sand
On Christ the solid rock I stand I can stand
When I need a friend
I go to the rock
I can go to the rock
Hey hey hey oh yeah
Some say love, it is a river
that drowns the tender reed.
Some say love, it is a razor
that leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love, it is a hunger,
an endless aching need.
I say love, it is a flower,
and you its only seed. It's the heart afraid of breaking
that never learns to dance.
It's the dream afraid of waking
that never takes the chance.
It's the one who won't be taken,
who cannot seem to give,
and the soul afraid of dyin'
that never learns to live. When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been to long,
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong,
just remember in the winter
far beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed that with the sun's love
in the spring becomes the rose.
As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that good old way
And who shall wear the robe and crown
Good Lord, show me the way! O brothers let's go down,
Let's go down, come on down,
Come on brothers let's go down,
Down in the river to pray.
As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that good old way
And who shall wear the robe and crown
Good Lord, show me the way! O sisters let's go down,
Let's go down, come on down,
O sisters let's go down,
Down in the river to pray.
As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that good old way
And who shall wear the robe and crown
Good Lord, show me the way! O fathers let's go down,
Let's go down, come on down,
O fathers let's go down,
Down in the river to pray.
As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that good old way
And who shall wear the robe and crown
Good Lord, show me the way! O mothers let's go down,
Let's go down, won’t you come on down,
Come on mothers let's go down,
Down in the river to pray.
My hands were made to worship you
My heart, my King, It beats for you
Oh Lamb so true
I surrender to you
My life (I give you)
My love (I give you)
My all (All) Your touch, Your
kiss
Your grace to me
Is deeper than my soul can see
My purpose it changed
When I called out your name
My life (I give you)
My love (I give you)
My all (All)
My past has been erased
With just one touch from you
My clouds, my rain
My pain has changed
Your blood has made me new
O Lamb so true I surrender to you
My life (I give you)
My love (I give you)
My all (All) And when this world
has come to end
And paradise with you begins
Well done you’ll say when I see your face
My life (I give you)
My love (I give you)
My all (all)
I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard my people cry.
All who dwell in dark and sin,
My hand will save.
Refrain
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.
I, who made the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear my light to them?
Whom shall I send?
Refrain
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.
Pie Jesu, Pie
Jesu
Pie Jesu, Pie Jesu
qui tollis peccata mundi
dona eis requiem sempiternam.
Pie Jesu, Pie
Jesu
Pie Jesu, Pie Jesu
qui tollis peccata mundi
dona eis requiem aeternam.
My young love said to me my mother won't mind
And my father won't slight you for your lack of kind
And she laid her hand on me and this she did say
It will not be long now 'til our wedding Day
She went away from me, she moved through the fair
And fondly I watched her move here and move there
And then she went onward, just one star awake
Like the swan in the evening moves over the lake
Last night she came to me, she came softly
in
So softly she came that her
feet made no din
And she laid her hand on me and this she did say
It will not be long now 'til our wedding day
Ave
Maria
Gratia plena
Dominus tecum
Benedicta tu in mulieribus
Et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus.
Sancta Maria Maria,
Maria Ora
pro nobis peccatoribus Nunc
et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen
Panis angelicus
fit panis hominum;
Dat panis caelicus
figuris terminum.
O res mirabilis!
manducat Dominum
Pauper, servus, et humilis.
When love is found and hope comes home,
sing and be glad that two are one. When love explodes and fills the sky, praise God and share our maker's joy.
When love has flowered in trust and care, build both each day, that love may dare, to reach beyond home's warmth and light to serve and strive for truth and right.
When love is tried as loved ones change, hold still to hope though all seems strange, till ease returns and hope grows wise, through list'ning ears and opened eyes.
Bind us together Lord
Bind us together
With cords that cannot be broken
Bind us Together Lord
Bind us together
Bind us together with love
There is only God
There is only one King
There is only one body
This is why we sing
Christ be beside me, Christ be before me,
Christ be behind me. King of my heart.
Christ be within me, Christ be below me,
Christ be above me, never to part.
Christ on my right hand, Christ on my left hand,
Christ all around me, shield in the strife.
Christ in my sleeping, Christ in my sitting,
Christ in my rising, light of my life.
Christ be in all hearts thinking about me,
Christ be in all tongues telling of me.
Christ be the vision in eyes that see me;
in ears that hear me, Christ ever be.
Set your heart on the higher
gifts
on the things that come from your Maker in heaven.
These three gifts are all that remain:
faith hope and love, and the greatest is love If I speak with the tongues
of the living, and of angels,
but speak without love,
I am only brass without song, an empty noise on the wind.
And if I understand ev'ry myst'ry, having wisdom,
but think without love,
Had I faith to scatter the hills, I am nothing at all And if I should renounce all
my riches,
feed the hungry, give over my life;
without love my profit is loss,
my caring finds no reward.
Ah! descendons ensemble!
Mo ghrá Thú, a Thiarna
Mo neart Thú
Mo ghrá Thú,
a Thiarna
Mo Dhia Thú
mo charraig is mo dhídean
Mo sciath, adharc mo shlánaithe, mo dhún
Glaoim ar an Tiarna mar dleacht moladh
Agus déarta mo shaoradh ó mo náimhde
(Curfá)
Go maire an Tiarna, is é mo charraig É
Go raibh Dia mo Shlánaitheoir á mhóradh
Thug sé caithréim an dá
Agus nocht sé a ghrá dá ungthach
Wherever
you go, I shall go
Wherever you live, there shall I live
Your people will be my people
And your God will be my God too.
Wherever you die, I shall die
And there shall I be buried beside you
We will be together forever
And our love will be the gift of our life.
We will be together forever,
And our love will be the gift of our life.
